Street Wisdom

I first came across Street Wisdom in the spring of 2018.

Intrigued by the method, by the resonance to my own habits of finding answers in my life, and by the synchronicity through which I found it, I watched and waited until I could find an event close enough to easily get to.

I went on my first Street wisdom event in Leamington Spa in April 2018.

You can read about it on my blog here.

I wasn’t disappointed by the simplicity and the result, and I was excited to become a Street wizard myself and be able to support this wonderful organisation in my own area

“Street Wisdom is a global social enterprise with a mission to bring inspiration to every street on earth. It’s a technology that allows anyone, anywhere to get unusual inspiration from their everyday surroundings. Led by volunteer facilitators on city streets across the world, free Street Wisdom workshops give participants the skills to access the ‘invisible university’ that’s all around them and find fresh answers to personal or work-related questions – with profound results”

I run Street Wisdom events roughly once a month in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

More information can be found on the Street Wisdom website, where you can check for events near you.

They are free, fun, and amazing!!

Life Is A Walk

Walking has been a lifesaver for me!

Or rather… it may not have saved my life, but it has certainly made me see it more clearly.

I have lost count of the amount of times I have felt stuck, unable to make a decision, unable to see the way forward, feeling lost, lonely, overexcited or plain buzzing – and a simple walk has brought me down to the ground and a clearer way of thinking.

I am not a guide, I am not a fitness freak, I’m not great with hills, and my navigation skills are less than skillfull.

It doesn’t matter. I always find what I need. I sometimes find something extraordinarily enlightening or more usually just a plain old come-to-Jesus reality check.

If you see an event posted here, I invite you to join me – or more than likely us – for a Life is a Walk wander.
